Beware the Greeks bearing gifts… Laocoon’s words of wisdom. The catastrophic results of not heeding those words resulted in the sacking of Troy, whose walls would have remained unbreachable, had they not broken down the wall themselves in their eagerness to get the wooden horse within the city walls. The gods were against them, of course, but that’s no excuse for not being careful. After all, Odysseus was a Greek, and Athena was his patroness.
