i’m siiiick. fever and cough. bleah. fever was slept away or more like, i drank so much hot water my innards must have boiled it away. i think i went to bed ridiculously early last night… around 8 maybe? so now i’m up before 10 for the 2nd time this vacation. hahaha. my solution on top of boiling myself is downing V8’s with a vengeance. too bad my mom refuses to buy tobasco. tobasco + v8 = sooo yummy. vitamin c overdose to kill the cold!!

going back to SNOW on the 29th. and then the next day i’m off to meet up w/Shang for the first time since her recital during summer of 2003. if snow doesn’t get in the way. it’s been a while. (oooh that’s right, there was the ASU boat cruise last year. so it hasn’t been THAT long since we’ve seen each other, but it’s been a while since we’ve hung out. :-P)

finished the last bit on my e-voting admin panel… tally votes. it works, it works… “eeets ALIVE!!!” now to make it pretty… and then to add even more user-friendliness and multiple election capabilities.

i love how flexible php is. but it also means when you mess up… you can REALLY mess up. and debugging sucks too. but still… the combo of php & mysql is soooo nice. wish i started playing around with it much sooner.

There was one bit in The English Patient which made me burst out laughing (though it was meant to be deep and lovely) and here it is:

mew… such pretty lyrics. listening to Sweetest Goodbye by Maroon 5. part of this song was in Love Actually i think, along with Sunday Morning, which is another really nice song. or at least how the song’s labelled. i guess this can ony mean one thing: we must watch it!! hehe. that means we’ve got to find time to watch the rest of the hornblower series. (we left horatio about to be court marshalled for mutiny *gasp* oh the suspense.) and will & grace seasons 2 & 3, alias season 3, and… one of these days i want an infernal affairs marathon. with jiang hu thrown in. something like what we did at the end of finals last year, w/the hornblower series, loads of buffalo wings and other yummies.

which reminds me. the ktsf channel which shows lots of asian stuff was showing a benefit event the hong kong stars were putting on… and who should be up there front and center but andy lau & jacky cheung… and of course i thought: jiang hu!! zuo shou ge & Mr. Hung!! and eric tsang (Sam from Infernal Affairs) was speaking, and behind him and around him was another guy from one of those triad movies. weee!!! i do love the hong kong triad movies.
