me = very excited

tomorrow at this time… i should be sleeping in canada. hehehe. how odd that sounds. anyway… got my cs235 (automata) pset done early (wow, this week’s problem set was so much easier than all the previous ones…) so i could stay up working on the montreal stuff instead. i suppose it’s a sign that i’m just not meant to sleep on wednesday nights.

can’t wait for tomorrow… ’cause i’m leaving on a jet plane / don’t know when i’ll be back again well actually i do know when i’ll be back again. on the 14th. oh shit… that means if i want to sign up to interview w/microsoft (hahahaha yah i really want that additional stress) i’ll have to find internet access somewhere up there. their presentation, by the way, was not half as good as google’s. i found it ironic that their powerpoint presentation didn’t work correctly either. and apparently now they’re recruiting non-cs people. interesting. very interesting. i don’t really want to interview or take part in any more of these recruiting events, but i have this morbid curiosity about it… oh well! too much shit to do next week anyway.

and i love pomegrante juice.

weekend & lyrics

went for dimsum yesterday. mmmm…. and ended up buying lots of candy on a whim… (reeses, ferrero rocher, mon cheri) some pastries & cake at a chinese bakery, and lots of stuff from Star Market… and takeout from Penang. (roti canai… mmm… spicy curry is sooo good) *koff* never go food shopping when you’re hungry. but i was running out of snacks anyway… and i did buy some healthy things, like yogurt.

i have a really unique way of eating reeses… i break it in two, and eat as much of the peanut butter part as i can… and then i throw away the chocolate. i bought a jar of peanut butter… i think i’m going to microwave it w/chocolate and cut up bananas. mmm….

listening to Maroon 5… Sweetest Goodbye. Their songs are so catchy!! Dream away everyday / Try so hard to disregard / The rhythm of the rain that drops /And coincides with the beating of my heart Such poetic lyrics.

last of the Ken Oak songs to which I have lyrics. End Credits. Hehehe I like the line “you maxed out my only credit card / and made me use your fruity soap.” SOO random. i think there’s a godfather reference in there somewhere… but i’m not sure.

a lot on my mind

the election has me ranting like a mad-woman, and i’ve been sadly detached from the real world. something about the wellesley bubble always has me disregarding current events. our country is being run by essentially one political party now. 11 states voted against gay marriage. (it wasn’t even saying, “let’s legalize it” it was simply, “let’s not take away their right” and 11 states. ELEVEN took away those rights) Kerry didn’t even try to fight for every vote, as edwards promised. how disappointing. how very disappointing. the most important election ever… justice stevens is already 84. let him retire already! but no… he has to hang on, or the supreme court will be unfairly balanced for the next 40 or so years. gah.

a lot on my mind. schoolwork and grad school and personal stuff. >_< i wish there were easy solutions to everything. i don’t want to go into detail in this post. i wish nothing needed to change. or rather, i wish one big detail was different, so this matter wasn’t an issue at all. it’s really not fair. je souhaite que le pays n’est pas si grande… j’espere qu’il y a une solution simple et facile… mais il n’y a rien que je puis faire. aaaaaaaargh. so frustrating.
